Vancouver hosted a whole team of talented dance instructors from Manchester to Seattle for the Next Level Fusion Exchange in 2015, kicking it off with a live music performance by local songstress Claire Fossey and a special class by VELODY!

-one day of specialized classes at OKO Dance, including a specially partnered choreography
created just for Vancouver called "What would Lucy Do?"

Our September Special Event will be a free dance event and a movie screening, part of BC Culture Days!
Dancing and a Movie: An Evening on the Town will be a joint production of the Vancouver Blues and Fusion Dancers with the Vancouver Asian Film Festival (VAFF)!
We've been working around the clock to bring you this Free event, so bring all of your friends for an evening brimming with local culture.

The Blues Cafe with Justin Riley, March 15th, 2013
The Blues Cafe was luckily enough to have Blues-Fusion instructor and organizer of the Alt-Blues Recess dance exchange weekends, Justin Riley from Portland, OR, in town on Friday March 15th, 2013. Justin taught a weekend packed full of classes at his workshop weekend, that took place at Ache Brasil Capoeira on March 16th-17th and he kicked off his workshop weekend with a drop-in lesson at The Blues Cafe! Justin taught a very special drop-in Blues Fusion class at The Blues Cafe, after which he DJed his favourite tunes for our local scene's dancing pleasure!
